September - November 2024

Men's Mental Health Awareness Month

Men experience disproportionately high rates of suicide, with death by suicide being the biggest killer of men under the age of 50 in the UK. Each November, Mental Health UK tackle this stigma and encourage men to talk.

Macmillan Coffee
Morning

It’s Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event to support people living with cancer. Since 1990, Coffee Morning has brought together
millions of people from across the UK to have fun and raise money for a good cause.

Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD)

Thursday 16th May is Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). This is an awareness day focusing on the inclusive practice of making digital products such as websites, mobile apps and online tools as accesible and usable as possible.

Mental Health Awareness Week 2024

Occurring annually, it’s the biggest opportunity for the UK to come together to focus on getting good mental health. The week aims to tackle stigma and help people understand and prioritise their and others’ mental health.

Time to Talk Day: 1st February 2024

Time to Talk Day takes place on 1st February and is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. Happening every year, it’s a day for friends, families, communities, and workplaces to come together to talk, listen and change lives.

During February, the British Heart Foundation (BHF) are asking people across the country to Go Red for Heart Month and support. Funding research is how they change the game, and we can all play a part

International Women's Day

On 8th March 2024, the world will celebrate International Women's Day (IWD). This is a day to challenge stereotypes of women, broaden perceptions of what is possible and celebrate women's achievements.
